Yes, in some areas. I listen to a lot of 70s, 80s and 90s music.
Do you listen to/prefer bands that show similarities to the music you listened to growing up?
I warm to rock bands that remind me of old rock because of the feeling of nostalgia I get from the music.
What is your opinion on the type of music that our younger generation are growing up to?
There are more and more songs about sex, drugs and alcohol and I think it’s sending them the wrong message.
What kind of bands/artists would you recommend younger people to listen to?
Angus & Julia Stone, The Vines, The Holidays, Whitley, Illy, Urthboy, Daily Medz, Two Door Cinema Club, Foals, Florence and the Machine, Adele.
Do you and your friends share the same likes and dislikes in music?
Sometimes. I introduce a lot of music to my friends so in a way we do share the same likes but, having said that, some of them listen to bands I hate so it goes both ways.
